How to Use Your Push-Up Tube

Our cardboard tubes are a sustainable, plastic-free alternative to traditional applicators. Because they don't use a plastic twisting mechanism, they require a slightly different touch:

  1. The "Slow Push": Remove the cap and use your index finger to gently push the bottom disk upward. Since the balm fits snugly to prevent leaking, it may require a firm initial push.

  2. Less is More: Only push up as much product as you need for one application (about 1-2mm). Unlike plastic tubes, these do not "screw" back down easily.

  3. The Temperature Trick: If the tube feels stuck, roll it between your palms for 30 seconds. The warmth from your hands will slightly soften the natural waxes (like beeswax and tallow), allowing the disk to slide more smoothly.

  4. Closing Up: If you’ve pushed the product up too far, gently tap the bottom of the tube on a hard, flat surface, or use the cap to lightly press the balm back down before replacing the lid.
